On our way home Raven started talking about becoming a troll. She thinks she was bitten by a troll and they put troll poison in her and she will turn into an ugly troll.
Nadia fell asleep on the way home and woke up in a panic and was hyperventilating and then once we got her to breath normal, she started crying.
She had a dream that her birth parents were going to kidnap her. She said that they told her that if she screams they will kill her parents.
She is now afraid to scream if something does really happen.
We told her not to worry about it and she should always scream if someone is trying to take her.
We reassured her that her birth family would never do such a thing. They haven't tried yet, so they are most likely not ever going to.
We don't ever talk negative about the kids birth family in front of them or with them, so I am not sure where this is even coming from.
She is processing things in therapy right now, but I have never questioned her about it or her therapist about it. I figure when she is ready to talk about it with me, she will.
Just like tonight, normally things come out when she is struggling with something or she dreams about things.
I have always had the opinion that our kids will form their own opinion of their birth parents on their own. They don't need us to tell them things. If they have questions, they ask them, but I try to always tell them that their birth parents love them, they just didn't know how to help themselves in order to raise them.
