The ManKind Project's photo.
We are beginning to realize this. Our kids have been a complete handful this summer.
I think now that we have moved into a home that they were part of the decision making, they are feeling more safe and secure and are able to act out or voice their feelings.
We have made so many leaps and bounds this summer. Yes, the kids have had some attitudes, but believe me, that is so much better than the complete shut down or ignoring behavior that they were doing.

We woke up to this mess. Whoever made this mess needs to come clean it up. Oh wait that was us! Dang it! First we need to go grocery shopping because school starts tomorrow and if we don't go shopping they will starve at lunch, or so that's what the kids say anyway.

Kids school lunches are made and ready in the fridge waiting for the 1st day of school tomorrow.
1. Ham and Salami sandwhiche
2. Carrots and ranch
3. Yogurt
4. Cookies or cheeto's
5. Drink

It will be official tomorrow that we have an:
8th grader (makes me feel old)
5th grader
3rd grader
1st grader
Am I really old enough to have an 8th grader? Yes, yes I am!!! Unfortunately!!!

We did some more demolition in the basement today. The amount of mouse poop in our basement ceiling is just disgusting. Glad we are ripping down the sheet rock and cleaning it up. So nasty!!!
At least we will know that we have a clean and safe ceiling downstairs once we replace the sheet rock.
